Who We Are

Leak Hunters is a specialist shower repair business based in Newcastle. Finding and sealing leaks is the only work we do, which is why homeowners, property managers and other plumbers bring us the shower leaks that have been hard to trace. We start by finding the true source, using moisture mapping and thermal imaging to locate hidden water without lifting a tile. Once we’ve pinpointed it, we re-seal or regrout the shower, depending on what has failed. As dedicated shower leak specialists, we back our epoxy work with a 5-year conditional warranty that covers only the work listed on your invoice. You can see the full range of our shower leak repair services.

Locally Owned and operated

Working Across the Region

Leak Hunters is locally owned and based in Newcastle, with teams working across the Central Coast and Port Stephens. When you call, you deal with the people who do the work, not a call centre or a subcontracted crew.

We focus on one thing: finding and repairing leaks in showers, bathrooms, balconies and other wet areas. Our team covers Newcastle, the Central Coast and Port Stephens, and our knowledge of the region’s housing and conditions helps us diagnose faster.

Experienced Plumbers on hand

The Team Behind Leak Hunters

Leak Hunters is led by Michael Feneck, a licensed plumber and gas fitter with over 25 years in the trade. Alongside Leak Hunters, Michael runs a long-established maintenance plumbing business, and that depth of diagnostic experience is exactly what hard-to-find shower leaks demand.

Every repair is carried out by a licensed plumber who specialises in leaks, so the person who diagnoses your shower is the person who repairs it. We don’t hand the work to subcontractors.
